Job Description
Looking for Staff Nurse for Joint Commission Accredited home health service provider.
- Provide direct care to patients and their relatives based on a holistic approach.
- Assist with physical examinations and treatments.
- Monitor and administer medication and intravenous infusions.
- Ensure Nursing Care Plan is updated and documented on regular basis.
- Keep and document events of patient care using the nursing process approach.
- Check vitals of assigned patients as and when required.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
- Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team approach.
- Perform clinical nursing procedures based on policy and procedure manual of SIHT
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, sterile instruments and storage procedures.
- Work in collaboration with other departments in the Home Health as required.
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, spiritual support to patients, friends &families.
- Be aware of the current practices and protocols of patient care in respective units.
- Perform patient assessment on admission and ongoing follow up as per hospital protocol.
- Assist patient for fall risk as per SIHT protocols.
- Able to conduct environmental assessment before any nursing procedure.
- Have full knowledge about common diagnostic procedure done in Home Health.
- Have knowledge and competency in all common therapeutic procedures done in the Home Health.
- Coordinate triaging patients
- Responsible of the healthcare bag and gadgets provided to the staff.
- Completion of the patients file after job is done.
Job Specification
- BScN/ General Nursing
- Fresh to 3 years of clinical experience
- Experience in JCI accredited hospital will be a plus
- Experience in home healthcare will be an added advantage
- Candidate must have valid PNC license.
- Candidates must be Covid Vaccinated
